Best Twin Buggy: 10 Things I'd Loved To Know Sooner

The Best Twin Buggy

Created to grow with your family This inline double comes with different seating options and is suitable for twins or children of different ages. The foam-filled tires will never flatten, and the soft suspension is perfect for roads.

It is easy to travel because it folds super-flat and meets the weight requirements of airline gate-checks. It also has a massive underseat storage basket and four-panel sun canopy.

Leclerc Influencer

The Leclerc influencer is an excellent option for travelers. Its sleek design, auto-folding feature and cabin approved dimensions make it a great option. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm, which is slightly larger than the IATA standard of 45cm but it still complies with the regulations of hand luggage for airlines and can be stored in the overhead lockers on flights (Subject to Airline approval). We found it was easy to clean with a simple wipe down and there were many extras available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy organiser bags that strap onto the handles and hoods that provide UV50and protection.

It's easy to maneuver up and down stairs and can be squeezed into tight spaces like narrow alleyways, shops and Jane's terrace house. The bumper bar also functions as a handle. There's also a large brake that's flip-flop friendly and has a colour indicator. The basket is a little smaller than some other models but it's still big enough to accommodate a decent-sized changing bag and there are additional tray for snacks, drinks and toys.

It's suitable for babies from the time of birth and can be used with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). For older children there's a clever backrest that nearly flattens to make it perfect for extended nap times or walks. The smart 5-point harness that is magnetic is easy to use. It's also super light at just 6.6kg and comes with an extra bag for travel.

Joie Evalite Duo

British brand Joie is committed to "sharing happiness with the new parents" and has created pushchairs that are "functional and innovative, as well as stylish". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is the brand's latest product. It's designed to take two kids side-by-side, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both kids can see the world around them.

Weighing just over 10kg The Evalite Duo is one of the tiniest strollers for siblings available. It's suitable for babies from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to fold and lift, drive and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate a second child seat.

Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding is an outstanding feature. They were awed by how quickly and easily the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did note that it's trickier to navigate bumps and rough terrain than some other models.

They also note that the front seat does not fully recline, and they had to make use of their hands to pull it to a comfortable position which they don't want to be forced to do while traveling with children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that is a great choice with some adjustments. They are impressed by how compact it is when folded.

iCandy Peach

iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy that gives parents the variety they need. It is compatible with a variety of car seats, and folds easily using a one-click mechanism. It also comes with plenty of accessories that rival brands will charge separately like liners and rain covers.

iCandy Peach is a favorite for parents who are fashion-conscious due to its fashionable and contemporary jersey fabrics. This new 2022 Peach is updated with minor tweaks to improve the performance and function without sacrificing style.

One of the most significant changes to this latest Peach is the addition of a ride-on board which makes it a fantastic option for twins. It's also a bit smaller than the previous Peach model, but it still provides all the space your child may require.

This is an excellent double stroller for those who want something sleek and versatile. You can use it as a single pram from birth and then buy a double kit to turn it into a twin stroller. It also has a huge basket and five recline positions to provide maximum comfort for your children. It also features an easy fold that can be folded with one hand and an integrated carry strap. The only downside is that it can be quite heavy to carry around when not in use in particular since it folds into two pieces rather than one.

iCandy Orange

This is one of the most comfortable twin buggies on the market. The seats can be fitted with liners and footmuffs that keep your children warm during cold winter months. The carrycot is easy to attach using the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 different combinations of the seat and carrycot.

pushchair twin Push Chairs And Prams  are made to handle rough terrain and pavements. It also comes with a large shopping basket that's ideal for supermarkets with large sizes. The pushchair is lightweight and easy to drive. The round pedal brake makes it simple to use, but it's not suitable for flip-flops. It's not easy to fold, and the latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. Once it's collapsed the front wheels fold into the basket and the chassis is free to stand.

The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who are fashion-conscious and have a toddler or baby or both. They're looking for a buggy that can grow with their child. It's a great option for parents who anticipate another baby in the near future and need a double pushchair that is adaptable. The iCandy Orange is not cheap, but it's versatile enough that it's likely to last some time and also have a high resale price as well. It's also available with a buggy, which should reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.

Mountain Buggy Duet

Mountain Buggy, founded by an Australian and a member of the Mokopuna Group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first company in the world of prams to concentrate on double all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim and is able to slide through doors and easily maneuver through narrow aisles of shopping. It is among the most compact and full-featured double buggies that are available and has won numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.

Its narrow seats are spacious enough for children of varying ages to sit together comfortably and the seats are independently reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopy has an adjustable sun visor that can be removed, and the storage basket is spacious. It works with almost all brands and comes with two infant car seat adapters when you purchase car seats.

The only downside is the weight. At 32.4 pounds, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk and could be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. It's priced higher than other double buggies. But, it's built to last and comes with numerous features for the price. It's a great option for urban parents who don't want to drag around a bulky stroller. The straps that are padded and buckles with five points make it safe for babies.

Bugaboo Donkey twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a stylish, functional and beautiful buggy with a elegant design. It's a good product, but not without flaws.

It offers very few extra features, both for kids and parents. The only thing that is offered by the small side bin is that it is only available when one seat in the car is connected. There are no cup holders, parent tray or accessory pockets. This could be a problem during long trips.

The seats also don't recline to a very flat position and the gap between them is a bit wide which is why our 5 year old had trouble lying back with ease. This is a shame since it's a premium model.

On the bright side, it's a breeze to maneuver and the swivel wheels work well for climbing up steep slopes and steps. It's also small enough to pass through most doors and folds down quickly for easy storage and transport. Plus, it can be turned into mono mode with just three clicks should you require more space or need to get away. It can even accommodate a third child using the comfort wheeled board should you're required to. It's expensive, but for those on a budget there are alternatives out there. If you love the brand and can afford it, it's well worth the cost.
